Dr. Shorer served as the Secretary and CEO for Israeli Political Science Association. Dr. Shorer research fields include: Political Economy and voting, Internet communities, Artificial Intelligence applications to Internet behavior.

Lecturer: Dr. Galit Ben-Israel
  • Dr. Galit Ben-Israel is a Head of Cyber Terrorism, Identity and Mobilization at IDmap. Her Doctoral Thesis, supervised by Prof. Ilan Pape, considers over government policy towards barricades-hostages events. She regularly participates in NATO workshop on terror and de-radicalization. Dr. Galit Ben-Israel is a regular contributor and analyst on the issues of terror in leading Israeli Internet newspapers as Ynet, NRG, Walla etc. Dr. Ben-Israel has a sound teaching experience in Israeli Universities and Colleges and been awarded a Best Teacher Nomination for 5 years.

Lecturer Dr. Moshe Sher
  • Moshe Shner is a graduate of the first program of “Internet Communication in Academic Education” at the Mofet Institute in Tel Aviv, 1994-1995. Since then Shner is developing online international educational programs in the broad field of the Humanities. Shner taught virtual academic courses at Oranim College and Haifa University about online education and taught online philosophy and history at American academic institutions. Shner studies the fields of the “Good Teaching”, “Good Teacher”, and “Good Student” in a reality of Globalization and fast international communication, publishes articles on these topics and gives lectures in academic conferences.

Lecturer: Anat Kaplun
  • Anat Kaplun is a post-Graduate Student for Organizational psychology at Bar-Ilan University. She works as an Editor of the Central news edition of the Israeli Channel 2 and a research correspondent and editor of “Uvdah” with Ilana Dayan program at Israeli TV. Anat served as Foreign desk editor at Israeli Army radio station. She aslo worked as an Editor of Foreign desk and Content developer for “Israeli” newspaper. She holds a Winner Award of Pratt communication in environment, the research “gray city” – air pollution in Haifa Bay. She is a Winner of Excellence in Beer Sheva competition in media.

Lecturer: Carmel Vaisman
  • Carmel L. Vaisman is completing her PhD in the Department of Communications of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as an ethnographic research on teenage girls’ blogs and publishes academic papers about the Hebrew blogosphere. She has been teaching various communication courses for 9 years at the Communication Departments of the Hebrew university, the Israeli College of Management, the Interdisciplinary Center and the Open University, in addition to being a leading publicist in the field of Internet culture in various Israeli publications. She is one of the pioneer Internet users in Israel and an active member of the social media in Israeli community.

Lecturer: Albert Maranga
  • Albert Maranga is a Lecturer at Kenyan Universities and Internet Marketing consultant for UNESCO and East-African commercial communication companies. He holds degrees in both Business Management (MBA) and Computer Science. He finished Post-graduate qualifications in Software Marketing and Software Project management and has lectured for the University of Cambridge at the International programs in Management. Mr. Maranga managed software development teams in software centers and call-centers in the Indian city of Bangalore, which is the Worlds back office and the Silicon Valley of the East.

Lecturer: Brett Goldman
  • Brett Goldman graduated in History and studied post-Graduate studies in Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University (USA).  Mr. Goldman’s Thesis work entitled: “An examination of current trends in Political and Civic education in the United States”. He was appointed to the position of Field Officer on a campaign in Northeast Philadelphia during the 2008 election. Mr, Goldman finalizes his Graduate studies in Government Program at Israeli Interdisciplinary Center in the filed of Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security.   Mr. Goldman completed internship at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) of IDC. His current research issues include Counter terrorism and Homeland security, especially in the area of combating and preparing for Post-Modern Terrorism and research into European Mujahideen fighters in Bosnia and Afghanistan.

Lecturer: Matthew Barnes
  • Matthew Barnes is a Master student currently enrolled at the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzliya, Israel, studying Politics and Counter-Terrorism. He received his first Master degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, where he studied History and English Literature. Mr. Barnes experienced the evolution of video games from their humble beginnings in the household, excluding the more social and older video arcades. Whilst studying in Edinburgh, Matthew held a senior position in Britains biggest student newspaper ‘The Journal’.
