  • Description of the Course: We send an email instead of mail, Skype instead of talking on the phone, write a blog instead of a diary, read news and Poke at Facebook instead of smile and a wink on the street. Is it the dawn of a new culture or as technology changed revolutionary, but there’s nothing new under the sun? In this course we will learn the meanings and diffusion of these changes: we will study to identify accurately the nature of the new challenges of new media and the ways in which “history is repeating”. We will do this by using test cases that reflect current rifts across the four major dilemmas of the network culture today.
