Call for papers
Following IDmap’ conference entitled Identity Politics on the Internet (2009), Cambridge Scholars Publishing offered our Institute to issue a special collection on the issue of Identity Politics and the Internet.
We would therefore very much welcome the opportunity to receive proposals from scholars of the filed for the publication of a volume based on the proceedings of this event as well their own research.
We are interested in producing a volume which is both coherent and self-sufficient. For us, it is important that this be presentable as a book rather than a mere collection (with no introduction or sections).
The requirement length wise is a minimum of around 35 – 40 thousand words.
Proposals should include a brief description of the article (including the type of academic readership it would appeal to), a Table of Contents, an indication of length (preferably a rough word count), an estimate of the number of photographs to be included and an author/editor CV.
If possible a sample chapter or part of a chapter would be of great assistance, however this can be submitted at a later stage.
We hope you find this information helpful and look forward to hearing from you further on this subject. Thanks again for your interest.
